When Hosting Follows You Home
A guest arriving near Edinburgh Waverley needs directions. The cleaner is asking about checkout, and another booking request lands during your workday. If you handle each message, calendar change and turnover yourself, hosting can take over your free time. A manager can coordinate agreed tasks and bring you the decisions that still need your say.
Your Edinburgh Property Has Its Own Operating Needs
Edinburgh’s Old Town, New Town and Leith bring different access, guest and changeover considerations; a tenement flat is not managed exactly like a street-level home. Short Stay Solutions starts by reviewing your postcode, current setup and licensing/planning position. We explain the proposed service and responsibilities clearly, so you can decide what suits your property before agreeing to management.

Start With a Clear Property Assessment
Request a free, no-obligation property assessment with your postcode, bedroom count and current listing. We’ll review the setup, ask which tasks take most of your time, and explain the proposed service and fee. You can then decide whether the arrangement suits your property, your budget and how involved you want to remain as the owner.

For eligible stays on or after 24 July 2026, the Council’s Visitor Levy is 5% of the accommodation cost for the first five consecutive nights. Accommodation providers are responsible for collecting and paying it to the Council. Confirm how this will be handled for your property.
The fee depends on the agreed service. Ask for the management fee and any additional costs, such as onboarding or cleaning, to be explained before you decide.
